The Thames has served as inspiration for artists for centuries. It is the city’s beating heart, and the life and soul of London.
By day the many buildings lining its banks are frequently enveloped behind crowded wharves and sea craft, navigating across its surface.
But as night falls, the meandering waters, devoid of activity, become still and enigmatic, reflecting the billions of coloured lights in the city above.
I immerse myself in capturing a surreal, ever changing, enchanting and mystical kaleidoscopic world.
The stillness of the River Thames at night is liberating. I watch the constantly changing reflections, I hear the breeze whispering and I find vibrant solitude – I hope that observers of my images can do the same.
